We collect two types of information:

A. User-Generated Content (Stored Locally & Offline)

The following data is stored locally on your device to ensure your privacy and offline accessibility. It is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly perform a backup action:

• Game progress, high scores, and brain training history
• Psychological test results, personality assessments, and cognitive scores
• Personal notes or journals
• Offline Data Independence: All the above data remains accessible even without an internet connection, ensuring your personal insights stay with you.

B. Usage & Technical Data (Collected by Third Parties)

To improve app stability, analyze marketing effectiveness, and enhance user experience, we use third-party services that may collect:

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV).
• Advertising Identifiers (IDFA): If you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we may collect your IDFA for advertisement attribution (to understand how you found our app).
• Usage Data: Launch times, session duration, and feature interaction.
• Crash Logs: Information about app crashes and system state at the time of error.

3. How We Use Your Information

Local Data: To provide the core functionality of the app, such as saving your game levels and generating personal insights locally.

Technical Data:

• To analyze app performance and fix bugs (via Crashlytics).
• To understand user engagement trends (via Firebase Analytics).
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (via Meta/Facebook SDK).

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Management

BrainSPA offers premium subscriptions through Apple's App Store. All subscription purchases and renewals are processed by Apple, and we do not collect or store your payment information.

• Subscription status and purchase history are managed by Apple's StoreKit framework.
• We only receive information about your subscription status (active/inactive) to enable premium features (and offline access).
• We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or billing address.

Subscription Cancellation

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refund requests for subscriptions must be processed through Apple's refund policy. Please contact Apple Support for subscription refunds.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. These providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information:

Apple StoreKit

We use Apple's StoreKit framework to process subscription purchases. Apple handles all payment processing and subscription management.

We use Firebase to analyze how users interact with BrainSPA and to monitor system stability. Firebase may collect your IP address and device identifiers.

Meta (Facebook) SDK

We use the Meta SDK for app event measurement and advertisement attribution. This allows us to understand which marketing campaigns are successful. Meta may collect data consistent with their data policy.

6. Data Storage & Security

Personal Data: Your sensitive personal data (such as mental health test results) remains on your device within the app's sandbox environment using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults, Core Data). We do not upload individual test scores to third-party servers.

Data Transfer: While your personal content remains local, anonymous usage statistics and attribution data are processed by Firebase and Meta servers to help us improve the App.

7. Your Rights & Opt-Out

You have the right to:

• Access or delete your local data: Simply uninstalling the app will permanently remove all locally stored game progress and test results.
• Opt-out of Tracking (ATT): You can control whether BrainSPA can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes via the iOS prompt or in Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
• Opt-out of Analytics: You can disable tracking in your iOS device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

BrainSPA is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page.
